Tails 2.12 released: privacy & anonymously OS,tails os,tails os download

Tails is a live operating system that you can start on almost any computer from a DVD, USB stick, or SD card.

It aims at preserving your privacy and anonymity, and helps you to:

use the Internet anonymously and circumvent censorship;
all connections to the Internet are forced to go through the Tor network;

leave no trace on the computer you are using unless you ask it explicitly;

use state-of-the-art cryptographic tools to encrypt your files, emails and instant messaging.

Tails 2.12 was released. The Amnesic Incognito Live System (Tails) is a Debian-based self-starting CD or USB distribution with the goal of providing users with complete Internet anonymous features.

What’s new?

Installed the GNOME Sound Recorder again, hoping that in addition to the complex Audacity, but also through such a very simple application to record the sound. The sound clips recorded with the GNOME Sound Recorder are saved to the recording folder.

Removed an I2P instead of anonymous network, but unfortunately we can not find the developer to maintain I2P.

Upgrading to 4.9.13 for Linux should improve support for newer hardware (graphics, Wi-Fi, etc.).
